As excited as I am for fall weather, I am really sad to see summer come to an end. I feel as if I blinked and summer was halfway over. However, I have made so many positive changes in my life this summer; from changing jobs to preparing for my final year of college – I have been busier than I’ve ever been as well as happier than I’ve ever been.

I thought that before the season ends, I would share the products I have been loving all summer long. I will probably still be using these products well into September, as in NJ the weather typically stays warm until about mid-October.

One of the best investments I’ve made this summer was a pair of wireless headphones. I was in the market for headphones that weren’t ear buds (they always fall out of my ears) and, for obvious reasons, wireless. I love to lay in the pool or at the beach Screen Shot 2016-08-06 at 10.11.47 PMlistening to my favorite AudioBooks. I just finished The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, it was amazing! I purchased these headphones on Amazon for less than $30. While they aren’t top-of-the-line headphones, they work perfectly for me. I have listened to several hours of books since I bought these and have yet to charge them.

My next favorite beach essential is the Sun Bum Sea Spray. This spray is perfect for any day in the summer, I love beachy, messy waves; and, it doesn’t make your hair feel sticky or crunchy. I’ve used this almost every day this summer. I even got my entire family hooked on it!

I have also been loving the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palette since I got it for Christmas. However, I have been using the bronzeScreen Shot 2016-08-06 at 10.20.39 PMr in this palette , called Luminous Bronze Light, every day this summer. In the winter, it was just a bit too dark for my fair skin, but since I have gotten a tan, this is the perfect illuminating bronzer. It gives your skin a beautiful natural glow without making you look oily.

Side note: (This is NOT what I paid for it, at the time it was about $60.)

Screen Shot 2016-08-06 at 10.21.57 PMI am always extremely careful with my skin’s sun exposure, I am very fair and being sunburnt is basically the worst feeling ever. I am also extremely careful with what I put on my face, as a lot of sunscreens can make my face break out easily. I’ve been using the IT Cosmetics Full-Coverage CC+ cream with SPF 50 every time I have been in the sun. While I will only use an SPF 15 on the rest of my body, I want to prolong aging on my face as much as possible. This cream is full-coverage, so it’s providing multi-tasking benefits. It makes your skin look amazing while simultaneously protecting your skin.

Screen Shot 2016-08-06 at 10.22.50 PMAlthough I always make sure to apply sunscreen on my face, I oftentimes forget to put sunscreen on my lips. I have sunburnt my lips quite a few times this summer, and nothing has helped more than the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. It helps relieve the discomfort of chronically dry lips in the summer and winter alike.

Another way I have been achieving a sun-kissed glow this summer is by using the new
Tarte Little Mist Sunshine spray that comes with the tanning mitt. This product is not a dark self-tan, it only comes in one shade and applies clear. After a few hours, you will develop a slight tan. This just makes you look like you have been in the sun for a couple of days. It has no self-tanner smell, and it doesn’t leave streaks. The mitt that comes with the product is also really nice, it’s really thick and soft –  preventing you from getting the self-tanner on the palms of your hands.

Finally, I have very recently been loving the Redken Shine Brilliance Shine Flash 02 Glistening Mist. I am typically against using products in my hair. I rarely ever use hairspray or mousses. However, this mist is really nice to spray on the ends of your hair to give it that extra shine after it’s styled.

Now all you need is a big, floppy hat and some sunscreen and you are ready to hit the beach or pool looking as fabulous as ever!
